In a 1:1 lesson, the Coach can focus on the positions, habits and concepts your child needs most. Lesson content and teaching style may vary by Coach and Student.
MyChessCoach runs welcoming online tournaments designed for newer and developing players. ChessMania helps Students practice under tournament conditions, stay motivated and become part of a larger chess community.
Families and Coaches communicate through the messaging feature on MyChessCoach. Coaches are contractually prohibited from contacting a Student or Family through personal email, telephone, text, WhatsApp, social media or another private channel.

MyChessCoach provides structured learning paths for different experience levels. Your Coach may use these resources, their own teaching materials or a combination based on your child's needs.

Families pay one predictable MyChessCoach package price for 1:1 lessons, coach matching, scheduling, payment handling, practice tools, tournaments, and parent support. Coaches are independent contractors; the package price covers lesson facilitation, platform coordination, and support services.
Lessons are subject to Coach availability and acceptance. Advanced-level coaching may be priced 10% higher where disclosed before purchase.
